Nature Center

Here are some recent photos from a trip to the Nature Center. August and Skyla thought they were hilarious posing on the statues. It was pretty funny. As for Jude...he proudly wears his new shades.

Spring Shirts

I made these for the girls' Easter baskets. I found the old quilt pieces at an antique store and sewed them to the front of plain t shirts that we already had. I'm glad to be able to add a little hand made to their baskets with a quick project. They need to be ironed but who has time for that?

Hats

I just finished knitting these hats for the girls' dolls. The one on the bear was supposed to come out larger then the first one and it is actually smaller. Which about sums up my knitting skills right now. Oh well, they are cute and I'm sure they will get lots of wear around here.

Toothless

We've have been waiting for Skyla's two front teeth to come out for a while now. They have been dangling about making me crazy. I picked her up from school today and as soon as she got in the car she flashed me a big smile. One of them came out at school while she was eating an apple. When she got home she wanted me to wiggle the second one. This is definitely not my area. So, while sweating and nauseous I tried to wiggle it and pull a little but it stayed put. After ballet tonight it was really ready to come out. She went inside and took care of it herself. She is VERY excited. Here she is reluctantly posing for a photo.

Weekend

Finally, a weekend outside. Les has been working hard on the lovingly called "patchwork" tree house. He has been able to use mostly recycled wood from neighbor's old play sets and has done all the work by himself. I will post more pictures as we progress. The kids are already loving it!

Ready To Go

This is August on our way to the grocery store. I wish I had a picture of her from the day before. Picture this if you will, rainbow tights, a turquoise shirt, and a red velvet Christmas dress. Awesome
