Sarah's Birthday

Our family celebrated my sister's birthday at our house recently with home made pizza, chocolate cake with chocolate icing, and presents.

I was explaining to my girls last night about how the relationship they have as sisters will always be different from other friendships. Also, that it is something special to be treasured. They seemed to be really thinking about what I said. They also thought it was funny when I said we used to fight too. Happy Birthday Sarah...we love you!

The Contest

Skyla and Eryn came up with the idea to organize a contest for their siblings and neighbors. They used their own money to buy prizes and came up with several categories. I didn't capture many pictures as this event offered an opportunity for the contestant's parents to chat and have a beer.
