10 years I have been a mother. 10 years since my first little peanut was born on a very cold day in January. I'm quickly becoming the age I still think of as my parent's age. We celebrated Skyla's 10th with a fancy pants lunch at the Sundial downtown. My kids do love to ride an escalator or elevator so this one going up over 70 floors was a pretty big deal. A slumber party with cousins(celebrating Ely's 9th too) and we had our selves a party. Skyla continues to surprise me. Unexpected moments of confidence and courage that I hope she can hold on to.
